Aunt Kathy's visit
Aunt Kathy (erica's aunt) came up to to Dallas for a medical missions conference this past weekend and was able to stay with us for a couple of days. She was so excited to see Natalie and sang lots and lots of songs. Natalie wasn't sure what to think at first but eventually she loved it and started singing back with her. I'm now singing the Peanut Butter and Jelly song and the Little Green frog song on our way to work.
Daycare Pics
Here are some pictures inside Natalie's daycare room. There are up to 8 infants in each room (there are 7 in hers) and they are built in a suite configuration with another infant room. They share a kitchen, restroom, and diaper changing area.
This is little Emma - she's one of the older babies and is around 11 months. Natalie is the second youngest at just 5 months but she's keeping up with her friend Charlie (girl) who is 8 months and Leiland (boy) who is 6.5 months. I really like Leiland's mom - we sometimes come into the room around the same time during lunch and she's very friendly.Natalie's crib is on the right side of the bookcase. We had alot of ice on the road so most of the kids had left for the day already - usually there's alot more action going on.This is Blake - he's 10 months and is just learning to stand up and walk. I think Natalie has a crush on Blake because she smiles at him all the time. You can see the other infant room thru the changing area. The kitchen is to the left of this and the restroom to the right.
Here's pictures of my sweet little natalie.... i hated to wake her up since she had just fallen asleep for her afternoon nap (but we had to get home while it was still save).

Princess Leia
Lisa came over to visit the other day and brought Natalie some Christmas presents. Of course we had fun messing with Natalie and had to take some pictures of her. Lisa thinks she knows when to pose for a picture (there were 3 of us taking pictures at one point) and it was kind of papparazzi for a moment. We were able to get some more smiles on camera - yeah!
Hungry Natalie!!
Natalie was sooooooooooo cute today - we think she's going thru a growth spurt because she's been fussy and very hungry, pratically starving before every meal (she even ate during the night). Because she doesn't cry very often like this, I knew she was hungry but I just couldn't resist getting a few pictures of her - she was so mad she was cute. I fed her immediately after I took the video and she was a completely different child - so content and happy again. Thank goodness!
4 Month Update
Hi Everyone,
Natalie had her 4 month checkup on Monday and the doctor said she looks great. We had to fill out a 4 month development questionare to see how she is doing in areas like motor skills, communication, personal-social, problem solving, etc... We are proud to say that she is doing outstanding in everything except that we haven't heard her laugh out loud yet. Dr. Hayes assured us that would happen in no time and she was impressed with how well Natalie was doing with everything else. We did have to get shots and that is always sad to see but she did really well again and we had an excellent nurse who was quick and professional. Also, Dr. Hayes said that we could start trying out rice cereal once a day to get her use to eating solids and that when she reaches 6 months we can start her on vegatables and fruits.
For those that are interested, her are her stats:
weight: 14-6.5 oz (60%)
length: 24-1/4" (25%)
head: 16-1/4" (55%)
