2012 JUNE - Special** Indy Car Race

This past June, Matt and I got to experience an IndyCar Race in 1000% VIP style.  Izod is the sponsor and I was working with Izod and they offered several of us the experience to go behind the scences so Matt and I jumped at the opportunity.  I'd never been to a car race of any kind and this was the best experience ever.  The best part of the day started at the beginning when Mario took me on a couple of loops around the race track at 170 mph.  MARIO....as in Mario ANDRETTI!!!  He is one of the coolest 70 year olds I will ever met.  He's still got it, it was hilarious to see him riding around on his little moped and 20 year olds were fawning over him.  It was greatness.
