Memorial Day Birthday party

We had a great time yesterday at our friend's birthday party. Claire turned 4 and Ryan turned 1 (brother and sister) and we got to spend time in the sun enjoying the beginning of summer. There was lots of swimming, cupcake eating and cute pictures with the Sloans. It was a long over due time with our friends - we are blessed!

Rachel with her "boyfriend" jack. they are 10 days apart and she's about 10 lbs heavier! Godzilla Baby - rwarrrrrrr

While Rachel chilled inside with Jack, Natalie was having a spash fest outside. The morning of the party, we had gone to the opening day of the Carrollton Rosemeade waterpark (our city's water park, cost $6 total.... awesome!)

Next, it was cupcake time. Let me just say that our oldest daughter LOVES her some cupcakes. She's a girl after my own heart!..... she also found her counterpart when it comes to some cupcake lovin. Zane (jack's older brother) is just as addicted to cupcakes (actually just the icing) as Natalie is. Ensue cute pictures:

Finally, as we got near the end of the party, our tuckered out little girls were enjoying some cuddle time while daddy rocked them in the hammock. We knew they were tired when neither of them moved for about an hour!

Pretty Girls

I love my girls. LOVE them! Matt and I are just so blessed and we enjoy ever second we can spend with them. Here's a bunch of cute pics of us doing different things with them:

Crawling Rachel

Rachel is just growing in leaps and bounds these days. She is becoming very mobile. She's got the crawling thing down (just needs to work on speed) and is starting to pull up on things. Our end table seems to be the perfect height AND there is a very tempting crystal bowl with lemons sitting within reach. Matt finally convinced me tonight that we should probably move the crystal to safer grounds. Natalie is learning about "safer grounds" with her toys too!

Butterflies

The girls' had an Easter party at school and I bought these cute butterfly wings for all the girls. It was a big hit with the kids.....they were just too cute! (note to readers; natalie does not like taking pictures these days and is all smiles UNTIL I get the camera out. boo....)
