Pumpkin Patch 2010

What do you do on a georgeous Saturday morning the day before Halloween? Go to a pumpkin patch - of course! I had taken Natalie there last year to have some pictures done and I knew it would be a fun place to take both girls and grandma today. (While we went, daddy ran 8 miles. For those of you who don't know, Matt is training for his 1st half marathon and I am very excited for him).
Natalie was a mess! There was so much to do she didn't know where to start. Should she go to the pumpkin field, bouncy houses, mazes, hay ride, pony ride or a dozen or so photo op areas? She finally decided on a photo op with Ariel, then the bouncy house, then a photo op with sister, then more exploring. She got to pick out a pumpkin and pay for it herself. Lots of fun! And Grandma was a HUGE help - she pushed Rachel around most of the time which let me keep up with the ever-running 2 year old (who i might add is really starting to have some fun tantrums).
This is a snap shot of Natalie at 2 year and at 1 year.

Rachel turns over!

WOW! This week our littlest daughter Rachel rolled over for the first time. Daddy, Mommy, Natalie and Grandma were all in her bedroom getting both girls ready for bath/bed time and I had put her down for some tummy time. She was so excited to have everyone in there to watch and she decided she would put on a show and do a flip.
We tried to have her do it again so we could take a video or picture but it was a one time trick - at least for now.

She was 10 weeks old.

BIG SMILES !!!

Rachel is one happy baby girl! Our round little two-and-a-half-month old LOVES to bust out the huge smiles! They're usually gone too quick to get good still pictures, so thank goodness for video.

WARNING: MAJOR CUTENESS OVERLOAD.

RACHEL IS CUTE

Our new little daughter, Rachel Lynn, is a cutie. No, seriously, check it out! :)

Loungin' Baby Girl

So I walk into the living room, intending to plop down in my favorite chair and watch TV, and I find this. (I'll have to tell Erica to quit reading Goldilocks and the Three Bears to Rachel).

Bed-Time Buddies

Daddy loves his girls! (even though Rachel looks totally freaked-out.....and like she's trying to punch me in the face).

Rare Hat-Creatures Seen in Zookland!

It's not safe to traverse the wilds of the Zookland at night by yourself.....strange and dangerous creatures roam free. So, at great personal risk, the best wildlife photographer in the world will now take you on a photo-safari inside the land of Zooks.

First, A rare Zebra-Hat Elf appears...

...AND THEN ATTACKS!!!! RUN!!!

Next, we delve deeper into Zookland and encounter a juvenile Pink Napkin-Hat. It seems happy.

Then, we stumble upon an infant Pink Napkin-Hat, possibly a sibling. It seems embarrassed and confused. We may have found a nest...

...Yes! a nest indeed. Here is the patriarch Pink Napkin-Hat. It is not amused. Nor pink.

Finally, in the darkest reaches of Zookland, we quake and scream like second-graders as a frothing-mad Purple Pants-Hat rampages our way!

Oh No! It calls for it's mate!

We're hosed! The insane Green Shirt-Hat looks hungry. We may as well just kiss our .....

...WAIT!!!! What's this? It's our luck day! The Green Shirt-Hat and Purple Pants-Hat have captured an unwary Zebra-Hat Elf that wandered too close! We're saved!

As we make our escape from Zookland, in search of a much more normal place to hang out, we see that the look on the captured Elf's face says it all.....

Mommy is Pretty :) ..........................................................old

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERICA !!!!!

Mommy just turned 24......(for the tenth time in a row)

Natalie was, of course, kind enough to help Mommy with the cake.

Getting Ready for School (Part Deux)

Here's some more Zook-girl morning pictures (Daddy likes silly pics the best :)...

Natty-bug before mom "does her hair"

Little goofus-head

Nice gang sign Rachel, but I don't think Nat's scared.
